HELPING TO KEEP OUR FOREST GREEN AND CLEAN
The Newfoundland & Labrador Forest Protection Association has had a long and colourful history in our Province dating back to its formation in 1910. Historically, the primary role of the N&LFPA was in forest protection especially from forest fires.

However today while forest fire prevention remains a major activity, the N&LFPA is also involved in raising the public's awareness of the many benefits resulting from our forest and promoting conservation through education and publicity programs.

Please take a few minutes and browse one of Canada's oldest conservation organizations and if you are a student looking for information on the forests of Newfoundland and Labrador for that term paper or school project, then congratulations!!! You've found a great place to start.
